This page explains how Jou·Jou handles your personal data. It is written to be clear and simple, in line with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
We process your account and trip data so we can run Jou·Jou and show your journal to you and the people you invite — this is necessary to provide the service (contract).
We also use basic usage data, with your consent, to improve the product and send occasional updates about features or offers. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your profile, trips, and uploaded content from our systems.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
